A MAN CAN FIND HIS HEART   by   Pete McKenzie – Influencers West     "If hundreds of thousands of men seriously began to spiritually lead their homes, the impact on America would be far greater than one Christian man leading in the White House." (Steve Farrar in Point Man)     It's been said that the hardest thing to do for a man, is to give him back his heart. But Oh, what a glorious sight to see when a man finds his true heart - that heart lost one day long ago in a beautiful garden. Something broke in the man that day he lost himself; he went into hiding. He tried, but he couldn't help himself, or fix himself, or cover himself. His heart was lost and he would need God Almighty Himself to help him find it   What a blessing to a desperate world is a man who has found his heart, for when you reach the man, you reach his marriage, and when you reach his marriage, you reach his family. This is the man who can influence his church.  So when you reach the man, you can change the world.  Committed spiritual men, who lead strong spiritual families produce strong Spirit-led churches, which in turn change the world. What a marvelous day is the day when a man finally finds his true heart.   God Knows, God Cares, God is Willing, God is Able. He sits in the heavens and does whatever He pleases. (Psalms 115:3) But what if He doesn't do anything quickly in regard to a man's crisis?  What if He is slow?  What if He says "No"?  Too much of this, too many wounds, failures or disappointments, can crush a man's heart.  A fallen world has a way of doing that, and it's just a matter of time.   Somewhere along the way he got the idea that God is supposed to serve him.  Somehow he got the idea that God exists for him, and that is tragic, because it placed him in a precarious position of becoming confused, disillusioned, distant and even angry with God.   How do you help a man find his heart?  You help him find his way back to God. You lead him to the foot of the cross; you go with him into the presence of Jesus; you give him the priceless gift of solitude. And there, in the silence of that holy place, he can find his heart.  He can find his purpose, his value, and his identity as a Man of God.  He finds it by having it placed in him by the Healer and lover of his soul   A man can find that quiet place in himself, that feels and knows and lovesHe can swap his anger for peace, and his fearful stress for restHe can lay down his burden and forsake his fear.  He can rest from his fight to protect himself, to strive to maintain control, and to keep himself from being hurt again.   A man can find his heart.  Come with me to the foot of the crossCome with me to the Inner ChamberThere is nothing to fear, nothing to lose but the living death the world calls life.  The path to true life, is paved by the uncompromising brothersSurrender and Submission, Absolute Trust and Total Abandonment, and these brothers can bring a man to the place where he can find his heart   And when he does, he is a new, changed, and different man!  Strong, confident, fearless, and focused.  The fog of confusion is gone and his divided heart is healed, and he will never be the same, for he has found his heart in Jesus Christ, the Pearl of great price.   Now, he knows who he is, he knows why he's here, he knows where he's going, and he knows who's going to take him there.  He no longer has to feel lonely and isolated.  The bondage of insecurity and inadequacy that dog his steps are gone, for the man has found his heart.   But to find it, God had to be silent, He had to be slow, He had to say, "No", so that in that silence, His man could find his heart.   A man can only find his heart when his eyes are on The Lord and not himself.  The "illusive hardened heart" beats within the man who loves himself more than he loves God, for the uncrushed heart and the untouched soul are lost, until their crushing and lost-ness turn them to the cross … to The SOURCE...to their heart that's been waiting for them all along in the Inner Chamber, alone with the lover of his soul.   WHAT A MAGNIFICENT REUNION! THAT REUNION … WHEN JESUS GIVES A MAN BACK HIS HEART!
