Join us for 40 Days of Resurrection Prayer for our Families- FOR MORE INFORMATION

Day 1

If I will not forgive when I have been forgiven, then the cross has not changed me, nor the resurrection been understood.

-Give forgiveness to someone as a gift to God-

Day 2

If I will offer no mercy except for myself, and give only when it is deserved, have I truly understood the debt forgiven me with the cross of Christ?

-Give mercy to someone as a thanksgiving gift to God-

Day 3

If I live with a critical spirit, does the resurrected Christ live within me? If He does, is He critical of me? Does He want me to look at others as He does me?

-Give someone a word of encouragement rather than a complaint-

Day 4

Do I have the joy of Jesus deep down within my heart, or is it only when my circumstances are good? Joy is a choice, no matter what life gives.

-Choose joy today, and allow it to season your words-

Day 5

If Jesus conquered the cross and He left His grave, then why do I keep Him nailed to the cross with my bondage to sin? Let His resurrected life set me free.

-Choose to live with a new identity in Christ-

Day 6

If I give my goods to the poor and have not love, what does it accomplish? Loves conquers all.

-Give a gift to someone in need, but best of all tell this person that Jesus loves them and so do you. They need this more than the gift-

Day 7

If I do not know what came before me, do I know how to go forward?  Jesus paved the way for our life.  Will we walk on His path, or will we try to forge on without Him?

-Be a God seeker.  It is the smartest thing you will ever do-

Day 8

If I will not nurture and protect my soul, is it because I do not know the value placed on it by the One who redeemed it?

“I came to give life-life in all its fullness”

Day 9

If I will not seek when its offered, or look when it wants to be discovered, what earthen treasure will I seek and find that is greater than Heaven’s Treasure that could be mine?

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Day 10

If I harbor anger and bitterness in my soul, can I stand before Christ and condemn another person, while remembering what He has done for me?

“Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but fail to notice the beam in your own eye?”

Day 11

If I stay chained to bad choices and old habits, do I understand the freedom that was bought and paid for me. Break every chain.

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.”

Day 12

Am I a peacemaker that this world needs, or I do I join the anger divisiveness of popular opinion? Do I make a difference where it is needed?

“God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.”  Jesus

Day 13

Are my words a welcome seasoning, or are they offensive? Do I speak with love and encouragement, or with agitation and criticism?

“And never let ugly or hateful words come from your mouth, but instead let your words become beautiful gifts that encourage others; do this by speaking words of grace to help them.”

Apostle Paul

Day 14

Do I live with a thankful spirit? Are my prayers driven by my thankfulness?

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.”Psalms 100:4

Day 15

If I don’t live with a perspective that overrides the cares of the world, do I understand that victory is found in the resurrected Christ?

When Jesus said, “I have overcome the world,” He was speaking to you and me. Let Him overcome those things in your life that are out of your control.
