The Gospel is Good News. Never forget this. You will not hear this in the mainstream media. We only hear bad news from them. The reason for this is because our Country is under the influence of a liberal media and a movement in this Country that is led by a few people who are anti-God, and especially anti-Christ. Why is there a preference to purposely be anti-Christ? Well to those who do not know Christ, they do not want to make a distinction of who God is, and Christians believe that Jesus is God Incarnate. In other words, Jesus is God who came in the flesh and lived among us. The anti-Christ folks would rather view "god" as a state of thought, a personal perspective, or a mystical entity represented by all religions. If they had their way they would omit them all, for at their heart they feel religion is archaic, troublesome and no longer needed. They feel this way because they do not know Him, and this in itself speaks to the need in America that the people need to get to know Jesus. The recognition of Jesus as God and Christianity as the only way to Him is contrary to the message of these anti-Christ people. Therefore Christianity is high on their hit list for discrediting and diminishing it in the public eye. One could ask why they would be so against Jesus? The only answer I can come up with is because Satan is against Him and they follow their leader's system. One could make a historical case that it was through Christ, through Christians, and through the Judeo Christian principles found in the Bible that this Country was founded. Anything that was good that has come to this Country came through the leaders who were followers of Jesus. Jesus and the Gospel have always been Good News for this Country. But He is not Good News for false religions or the anti-Christ movement going on in this Country. Therefore we are seeing these false religions given equal and even greater favor than Christianity by these anti-Christ people, even though they are well aware that this Country and its values are hated by one of those false religions. Why would they be doing this unless their objective of an anti-Christ campaign is more important? It's pretty clear to me.
I hate to bring a doom and gloom end to this series, for I will bring a hope and encouragement message. However, I think it is important for us to understand that our real battle in this Nation is not against each other with political ideology, or the different political views on strengthening our national defense against intruders, outsiders, or radicals. Our battle is deeper than those issues and is hidden from sight. We are in a spiritual battle for this Country. The dangerous rhetoric we are seeing between our parties, political leaders, social leaders, racial tensions, etc. is only the tip of the iceberg, and there is only one way we are going to win that battle and save this Country, which is together as Christ's Church, on our knees and with the power of Christ against the evil that is coming against us.
The reason I am sharing this information is to emphasize the importance of reconciliation within the Church so that the Church can be a reconciler of the people of this Nation. We cannot help this nation if we cannot help ourselves. Although there is motivation enough to protect the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave, and the great experiment of a true democracy at work called America, there is no greater motivation than the fact that it is something our King Jesus would want for His family. He wants for us to be one, to be unified and to influence this Nation toward Him. There can be no greater motivation than sharing the Good News that everyone needs to hear.
If we can ever get to a point where we see our main mission in life as Christians and as His Church to be that of pleasing Him, our mission will become clear with the way we deal with each other and the way we react to the challenges around us. Perhaps if we will see it this way, it will not only make our mission clear, but our resources for making needed changes will follow, for we will be unified and battling against evil together with God's power, instead of battling against each other.
There is a powerful battle going on against this Country's value system, and the biggest threat to the battle plan that these agents of change have is theGood News that the Body of Christ can carry to a lot of hurting people. They would rather the people of this land be angry at each other, divided in values, and vulnerable to their ideology than see healing and unity in our land. The Church could very well be the only thing that stands between the good things of America facing destruction. However, it will not be through our political and social leaders and social programs that promise some kind of utopian government that will be our solution. Be very careful of those promises. Rather, it will be when the Church becomes the powerful organismshe is capable of being, and she brings reconciliation into this land.
Jesus has told His Church to make disciples. We never ask for permission to do this, even though it may one day be illegal to do so. The Church in China, in Iran, in Iraq, and in many other persecuted countries are making disciples in massive ways, even though they face tremendous threat to life, property and liberty. They cannot be prevented from doing what Jesus wants them to do in sharing the Good News, even though they are persecuted. It is because they are untied and thus strong. Our voice in this Country will not be stopped either if we are united, for there is a remnant of the Church that has not lost hope or the power God gives them. But this number needs to grow, and that is why I ask you to join me in our mission to reconcile the Body of Christ in America to each other, and then change our Country. Men, I hope I am around to see this. But you are God's plan for making this happen. Never forget this. The Church needs His men to step in at a critical time, and now is that time.
