• Introduce yourself, Influencers, and The Journey (use a Journey Brochure).
• Provide ‘The Journey to the Inner Chamber’ book.
• Schedule a follow-up.
• Build rapport and establish a relationship.

Co-guides are often required when facility staff are not present to observe.

• The application process will include a background check and orientation.
• Ongoing training will discuss the facilities' rules for safety and security.
  • ALL Rules MUST be followed.

• Days and Times
  • The institution will have set days and times available for meetings.
  • Disruptions to the schedule you establish are inevitable; flexibility is key
    • Meetings are subject to cancellation without notice.
• Group Members
  • Recruit participants using Journey Brochures, your own flyers, etc.
  • Set a cut-off date for admitting new members.
• Location
  • Regular Meetings AND Extended Session needs
    • Consider the size of your group
    • Space to spread out for private activities such as prayer
    • Chairs, tables, marker board, or etc.
    • Food
      • Brought by participants
      • Purchased internally
      • Brought in from the outside
• ALL ITEMS being brought in MUST be approved IN ADVANCE.
  • This process may involve multiple approvers and can take weeks.

• Influencers Global Ministries will provide a Journey Pack (with all required books) for each participant free of charge
  • If your institution does not allow spiral bindings or hard cover books, please request Soft Cover Materials.
  • Journals are NOT included.
• Please consider purchasing the Journey Packs and Journals for your group
  • Fund Raising Ideas include asking:
    • Regional Directors
    • Journey Groups or Individual Graduates
    • Churches or Ministries.
  • To keep donors engaged consider:
    • Asking group members for permission to share their ‘Letters to God’, journal entries, or other testimonies
    • Having group members write a Thank You Card / Note
    • Getting permission for Donors to visit the Group, such as during Commencement.

• If you (or the chaplain) are reluctant to launch a nine-month program
  • A quick way to get started is to Guide a six-week group
    • Use ‘The Journey to the Inner Chamber’ which has a ‘Study Guide for Small Groups’, OR another popular option is
    • ‘An Orphan No More’
• This can give you a quick win and is a proven way to recruit solid group member for The Journey.
